Education & Work History

1964   Graduated with BFA in Crafts from Tokyo University of the Arts
1966   Built a kiln at Kamisoshigaya Setagya-ku in Tokyo
1975   Exhibited works in “Jyusshukai”, a group show, 11 times to 
          present starting from the year.  
1980   Held 9 individual shows at Aoyama Green Gallery until 2001 
          starting from the year.
1982   Held 5 individual shows at Kandori until 2004 starting from the year.
1987   Built a kiln at Denenchofu Ota-ku in Tokyo
1988   Held an individual show at Art Salon in Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi
1990   Invited to “Nihon no bi, Beauty in Japan” exhibition at the Retretti 
          Art Center in Finland.
          Held 4 individual shows at Art Salon in Wako until 2004 starting from 
          the year.
1993   Held a dual show at Art Salon in Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi
1999   Held a dual show at Kandori
2005   Learned Fresco from Hisao Takahashi in France as a special trainee of 
          Japanese Government Overseas Study Program for Artists
2007   Held the fifth individual show at Art Salon in Wako
2009   Built a kiln at Miyamae-ku in Kawasaki city

1975-2011 Member of the Society of Japanese Art Crafts
Currently based in Kawasaki city in Kanagawa
